The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was really nice and cozy. The food was excellent. My husband and I will definitely go back and we strongly recommend the place if you like good food and good wine.

This is an interesting space overlooking an ancient Romam home.   The food was superb as was the wine.   We really enjoyed the meal.

The food was exceptional. We had starters, main courses and dessert, all of which was delicious. The service was also great. Overall experience was exceptional.

While on a day trip to Assisi, I looked for a restaurant close to Piazza Comune. We were a group of 8 ladies and il Menestrella was a perfect fit.. No only was the setting very unique surrounded by ancient stone walls..there was even a room with glass floors so you could observe the Roman ruins below while dining!! The food choices were a good fit for our group - 2 needed gluten and lactose free items.. they had both available - gluten free bread &amp; pasta and sauces with no cream or cheese. So everyone was able to order what they wanted.. The restrooms are also very nice &amp; clean. Highly recommend this dining venue when you are in Assisi..

good place for a quick bite, affordable prices but quality if the food aligned with what you pay, service is good, very nice hosts, does not have outside tables, so not great in the summer

I was here a few years ago and I was hit by the goodness of the dishes, especially the sting. I came back to enjoy it again today. It&#39;s extraordinary!! The service is excellent, very kind and careful staff. I strongly advise it!

The hotel is very comfortable, good food and especially special because I am AIC certificates and I am Celiaca was really a great luck! Luca, the server is very sympathetic, the owner idem! Council really! Price/quality ratio excellent!
